A new little prince is on his way. I was so excited to do Nicole’s Maternity Session in this lush enviroment. It suited their style perfectly. Nicole is a fellow “class-mate” of mine ….Prenatal Yoga that is. We have been comparing notes each time we chat. And continued to chat and share maternity, baby, and newborn stories throughout the whole session. They had brought BLUE balloons to their session to show their excitement which was the perfect touch. They are expecting early July. I am so excited for you; James and Nicole.

Eight weeks to go !!Thank you to one of my best friends, Leah for taking all these photos that day. The photographer I am, you would have thought that would be the 1st thing on my mind.

My sister and friends hosted me the most wonderful baby shower I have ever attended. I had to blog and share their every detail and all their hard work. My sister is such the “Martha Stewart” of showers. She is so creative. My baby’s nursery is going to be a Vintage Theme with Powder Blue and Ivory Toile, so she went off the theme. There was lace cut outs, blue and ivory tapestry and ribbon, vintage flags that hung with old vintage wooden frames to add. There was a wishing tree for me and baby for all the guests to write their wishes and give me pointers. They had also have a different centerpiece at each table. Actually, the table I sat at had my old Peter Rabbit books that my mom had kept. There were even stuffed animals from popular nursery rhymes. Next to the Buffet they had placed a few of my maternity portraits in vintage frames. The cocktail bar had a blue punch with baby ducklings swimming about with mason jars and candy stripped straws to drink from. They knew the babys initials are going to be “JCS” so Leah had made Ivory and Baby Blue letters displayed at the shower (which are now hanging in his nursery). Not a detail was over looked . A Baby Blue and White Candy Bar topped off the party with small burlap bags for guests to fill up on as the departed. Thank you sissy and all my wonderful friends for such a wonderful day. I know having all of your support and love that Baby JCS is coming into so many open loving arms.

I love Engagement Sessions. The couples are so fresh and more in love than ever before. A marriage made in High School ? You bet, Elise and Jeff had friends in common when they were in High School.Fast forward years later when Jeff could not wait to give Elise a “Special Cupcake” which held her ring. They are such a fun couple and Elise looked adorable for her shoot. They are Wedding in Naples March 2014. Congratulations Elise and Jeff!!!

Cherie and Tim are absolutey in love! Such an adorable couple. Tim & Cherie’s 5 year Anniversary was ony 4 days away, but he just could not wait. He had the diamond for a while but had the ring setting for not a day and he could not keep it secret and longer. He had to ask Cherie without waiting any longer. Tim had to be very sneaky with this engagement ring shopping because Cherie actually works at the jewelry store where he purchased it. He pulled it off! Cherie and Tim will be Wedding September of 2014. Congratulations !!

Shaina glowed from the moment she arrived at her Maternity session all the way to end. She was such a trooper and a proud Momma to be. Austin and Shaina are both expecting their first and it is a Baby Girl come the 1st week on June. I know for certain momma doesn’t want to wait a day more . They are both full of names, but it is a secret till her pretty face arrives. I was in love with these images, they were so natural in how they portrayed them both of them in their journey….. an anticiapation of her Little Miracle. Can’t wait for the Newborn Session and see the Little Angel. Congratulations Austin and Shaina. I am so excited for you both!

I had the pleasure of working with yet another adorable family here in Naples. Mom, Dad and Two sisters living in opposite sides of the country. They visited mom and dad and it was the perfect chance for some family portraits on nothing better than South West Florida Beaches. The fog rolled in very heavy this evening, but the overcast made for some gorgeous backgrounds.
And adorable children they were…..

If you are expecting and looking for ideas for a Gender Reveal Party, take a look at some of my ideas I used…. The envelope revealing the sex was brought to a local bakery. And our lovely on lookers, anticipating the reveal and filming for those far away.

The Games and bets were placed of course before the cake was cut . We had Old wives tales questions. When I answered the question the answer corresponded with a Boy or Girl Point. ….the cake was finally cut and it was Blue Old Wives tales were not too off.

We had guests place bets on Boy Vs Girl and the Heart Rate of the last doctors visit.

My sister and brother figured my husband might need a little help with diaper changing so they put togehter a “Baby Changing Kit”. It consisted of tongs, an apron, a mask, gloves, a clothes pin for his nose, and a small bottle of honey whiskey.

This adorable extended Family Session was perfect timing for the K Family’s Winter Family Reunion in Naples, Florida. They had come from all over the States to be together. Shoots like this are so important when Family reunions are planned.
